Maranello Ventures B.V.

Terms of Service

Updated 21 October 2026

1. Who we are

Maranello Ventures B.V., trading as Maranello Data, operates maranellodata.com. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Maranello Data” mean Maranello Ventures B.V.

  • Registered address: Energiestraat 33, 1411 AS Naarden, the Netherlands.
  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 99417952.
  • Email: hello@maranellodata.com.

These terms describe use of the website and the services arranged with our team. For a paid commission, they must be provided before an order is agreed, together with its specific contents, price and delivery arrangements. Sending a free look-up or enquiry does not place a paid order.

Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. The service and its limits

Maranello Data researches the history of individual Ferraris using sources such as archives, publications, specialist researchers, public records and contributions. The car is identified by its chassis number; older chassis numbers may predate the modern 17-character VIN.

Maranello Data® is an independent operation and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Ferrari S.p.A. or Ferrari N.V. Ferrari names, trademarks, logos, and model designations remain the property of their respective rights holders.

A Chassis File is a private digital account of the available evidence. It is not an official factory certificate, physical inspection, valuation, title check or authentication of the car. Source documents may be incomplete, contradictory or incorrect; the file must distinguish what a source records from what remains unconfirmed.

Future printed files, numbered certificates and history grading are not included unless expressly offered and agreed when those services become available. Demonstrations and labelled examples do not establish findings for a visitor's own car.

3. Free look-ups and enquiries

Public browsing and the initial look-up are free. For a look-up, provide a chassis number, a working email address and your relationship to the car. Our team checks available information and arranges a reply. We do not promise an automatic match, a complete history or a particular discovery.

A free summary can contain useful findings, limited leads or no findings. It is not itself the paid Chassis File. Where we identify suitable starting material, we explain what a file could include before you decide.

Enquiry buttons may prepare a draft in your email application. You review and send it yourself. Preparing or sending an enquiry does not open a paid file, fund a reward or start a chargeable investigation.

Online customer accounts and checkout are not currently offered. Delivery and access are arranged directly with the team.

You must be an adult to place a paid order and authorised to act for any business you represent. The standard private Chassis File is opened by the car's owner. A prospective buyer can request an extract through the owner; dealers and other professional clients have separately agreed services. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm authority.

4. Agreeing an order

We first agree the car, the starting contents or investigation scope, the total price, delivery method and timing, and payment arrangements. A contract is formed when we confirm an accepted order in writing, not when you submit a free look-up or prepare an enquiry email. Keep the offer and confirmation with these terms.

We may decline an enquiry if, for example, we cannot identify the car, establish suitable material or accept the proposed scope. We do not charge for a file that has not been agreed. If we cannot fulfil a confirmed order, we explain the situation and the available remedy, including a refund where applicable.

The payment method is stated in the written offer. This website does not collect payment-card details. We do not make an automatic charge from a look-up or enquiry, and optional additional work or material requires agreement.

A file is delivered digitally by the method and date agreed with you. If delivery is delayed, we discuss the reason and next steps; your legal rights for late or non-delivery remain intact. A research estimate must not override an agreed binding deadline.

5. Chassis File options and further costs

Both options start with the same agreed private digital Chassis File. Depending on the material available for that Ferrari, this can include recorded specification, rarity context and documented history, with sources and unresolved questions. We agree the actual starting contents before you buy; we do not promise that every category is available for every car.

  • Chassis File — €395: the agreed starting file and 12 months of checks and history alerts. Later information, photographs and documents are priced separately. You choose whether to buy them.
  • Chassis File Plus — €1,395 total: the same starting file, 24 months of checks and alerts, and all additional discoveries from our archive and research partners during that period. This is the total option price, not an additional €1,395 on top of €395.
  • Optional continuation — €99 per year: after the included 12 or 24 months, you may agree to continue checks and alerts. New information then costs extra under either option. Continuation does not extend the Plus inclusion of discoveries.

The €395, €1,395 and €99 prices above include VAT. Any separately quoted work or material is offered with its total payable price and applicable tax treatment before you agree.

The checks-and-alerts term and its start date are stated in the order confirmation. We do not guarantee future discoveries or continuous manual investigation. If a relevant discovery is available, we explain its scope and any charge before you decide.

Material bought privately from a former owner or another individual contributor, owner-funded rewards and separately commissioned Forensics work cost extra under both file options. Whether a discovery comes from an archive partner or a separate contributor determines its coverage, not whether it is a photograph, document or fact. We explain that distinction before a charge.

You keep the material already delivered without renewing. Continuation and additional purchases are optional; these terms do not authorise automatic renewal or an automatic payment. Printed products and future grading services are excluded unless separately agreed.

6. Forensics, contributions and owner-funded rewards

Maranello Forensics

Forensics is a separately commissioned investigation into an agreed question. We agree the scope, cost and timing first. It produces a written conclusion with evidence, references and remaining uncertainties; a particular conclusion or complete history is not guaranteed. Existing Plus coverage continues to apply to archive and partner discoveries during its agreed term. Uncovered purchases and rewards are quoted separately.

Material you send us

Only send material you have the right to share for review. Tell us about restrictions, ownership, personal information and any uncertainty about its source. By submitting it for consideration, you permit us to receive, store and examine it for that review and discuss it with you. Submission alone does not grant an unrestricted publication licence or promise payment.

Before publication or inclusion in a paid file, we agree the permitted use, any licence or payment and whether you receive public credit. Voluntary contributions are welcome without a reward. Privacy obligations and the rights of people appearing in a document apply independently of any copyright permission.

Rewards

Owners fund rewards. Maranello Data reviews contributions, connects the parties and charges an agreed platform fee; it does not promise to buy every submitted record or fund rewards itself. Reward amount, fee, acceptance conditions, payment arrangements and permitted use are agreed before a reward search begins. Payment depends on meeting those agreed terms.

Labelled sample requests are not funded bounties. An enquiry does not create or fund a reward, and you may discuss a standalone reward without buying a Chassis File.

7. Cancellation, withdrawal and problems with delivery

You can cancel a free look-up or an unaccepted enquiry without charge by contacting us. For a confirmed paid order, applicable consumer law and the written agreement determine cancellation and refunds.

Statutory withdrawal rights

Where you are a consumer covered by a statutory cooling-off period, including the applicable EU, EEA or UK rules, that right is preserved. For relevant distance service and digital-content contracts, the period is generally 14 days from conclusion of the contract. We explain the right, its start date and the procedure before an order is agreed.

Starting research or delivering a file does not, by itself, remove a statutory right to withdraw. If you ask us to begin during the cooling-off period, any express early-start request, acknowledgement, charge for work done or loss of withdrawal rights must be separately explained, lawfully agreed and confirmed in a form you can keep. We will not infer that consent merely from acceptance of these terms.

You can withdraw by sending a clear statement to hello@maranellodata.com or the postal address in section 1. You may use the model below but do not have to. Identify the order and send the statement before the applicable deadline. We refund when legally required, within the applicable deadline and normally using the original payment method. Statutory refunds are not replaced with compulsory credit.

Errors and missing agreed contents

Tell us if a delivered file contains an error, omits agreed contents or otherwise fails to match the agreement. We investigate and provide the remedy required by the agreement and applicable law. Please report concerns promptly, but a request to do so does not shorten a statutory time limit or remove a legal remedy.

A source may remain uncertain or contradictory even after careful research. That uncertainty must be described honestly; it does not excuse failing to provide agreed material or reasonable care in the work. Consumer rights concerning conformity, correction, price reduction, cancellation or refunds are not excluded by our source qualifications.

Business orders and any rights outside the statutory consumer rules are governed by the separately agreed cancellation terms and applicable law. A term in this document does not override a mandatory local right.

8. Using and sharing the material

The website's original design, texts and compiled records are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property and database law. Third-party photographs and documents remain subject to their owners' rights. Buying a file does not transfer those underlying rights.

You may keep and use your delivered file in connection with the particular car, and show permitted material to a prospective buyer, insurer, appraiser, restorer or adviser for that car. Any restrictions affecting third-party material must be identified when that material is offered. Dealers' commercial use and any transfer of file access with a sale are agreed separately.

Do not publicly republish, resell, sublicense or systematically extract the file or register unless we and any relevant rights holder have permitted that use or the law otherwise allows it. Any special publication or commercial rights must be stated in the written agreement.

An individual summary link can be read by anyone who holds it until it expires or is withdrawn. It does not provide access to the underlying customer documents. Do not share a link or file more widely than its permitted purpose. Contact us if a summary link needs to be withdrawn.

Nothing here restricts a use or exception that applicable law requires us to allow.

9. Responsible use

You must not impersonate an owner, misrepresent authority, submit deliberately false material, infringe another person's rights, attempt to uncover private identities, or access information you are not authorised to see. Do not interfere with the site's operation or security, scrape or bulk-extract protected material without permission, or use the service unlawfully.

We may restrict abusive or unauthorised access and investigate suspected misuse. Any restriction affecting an agreed paid service must be proportionate and subject to the agreement and applicable law; it does not automatically remove rights in material lawfully delivered.

If you believe a record infringes copyright, privacy or another right, contact us with the material concerned and enough information to assess your claim. We will review it and take appropriate action.

10. Responsibility and reliance

We undertake to provide the agreed service with reasonable care and to describe important limitations in the available sources. We cannot guarantee a complete history, an unbroken ownership sequence, the truth of every third-party account or any future discovery.

A Chassis File is not a substitute for inspection of the car and original documents by appropriate specialists before a purchase, restoration, insurance or valuation decision. An investigation's conclusion relates to its agreed question and evidence; it is not a general guarantee of the car.

Our responsibility is determined by the agreement and applicable law. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer remedies, liability for fraud, intent or deliberate recklessness, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable statutory time limits remain unchanged.

If a circumstance outside our reasonable control affects delivery, we explain it and discuss a reasonable next step. Such a circumstance does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation or refund rights.

11. Changes and continuity

The version provided when an order is agreed applies to that order. Later website or terms changes do not retrospectively remove agreed contents, coverage or statutory rights. Material changes to an ongoing service must be communicated and handled in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.

Checks and alerts end at the end of their agreed term unless continuation is separately agreed. You retain what has already been delivered. If we cannot continue an agreed service, we explain the circumstances and the remedy available under the agreement and law.

Customer online access remains in preparation; these terms do not promise an account, a particular download portal or continuing online hosting of a delivered file. The written order identifies how you receive and retain the material.

12. Complaints, law and contact

Contact hello@maranellodata.com if something has gone wrong. Include the order or look-up reference and the issue. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days; this aim does not delay a statutory deadline or prevent you from exercising a legal right.

Dutch law governs the agreement, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. A court clause does not remove a consumer's right to use a competent court available under applicable law. Any business-only jurisdiction arrangements must be agreed separately.

If a provision cannot lawfully apply, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. The specific written order and these terms must be read together; neither overrides mandatory rights.

Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing. It is an information notice, not a request for blanket consent or a waiver of privacy rights.
